What are chemical peels?

Chemical peels use chemical solutions to enhance and smooth facial skin texture by removing those outer layers damaged by pathological events such as scarring, acne, precancerous lesions, hyperpigmentation or ageing process (wrinkles, loss of elasticity, etc...).

How many types of chemical peels are there?
